Eve Introduces 5th Generation of Eve Thermo and Expands Smart Heating Portfolio with Underfloor Heating Controller Eve Thermostat

Munich/Germany, 9 December, 2025 – Eve Systems, a leading provider of smart home devices and part of ABB, today announced the availability of the 5th generation of its Eve Thermo smart radiator valve. Equipped with Matter and Thread technology and a more compact housing, Eve Thermo is now available for 79.95 Euro from Eve and Amazon. Like its award-winning predecessor, Eve Thermo (5th generation) integrates perfectly with the Eve Thermo Control temperature sensor and controller, as well as the Eve Door & Window contact sensor.

Eve has also announced Eve Thermostat, a wall-mounted thermostat for controlling water-based underfloor heating systems. Like the newly introduced Eve Thermo, it uses Matter and Thread technology and features Eve's characteristic design language and material appearance. Eve Thermostat is due in the first quarter of 2026.

Endless possibilities with the Eve app

The Eve app, available free of charge from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, offers a wide range of convenient features. It allows you to create and manage schedules for working days and days off that run autonomously on Eve Thermo, with configurable comfort and energy saving temperatures as well as additional temperatures specific to each room. A temperature offset between the device and the center of the room can also be set in the Eve app. Eve for Android only supports Eve devices connected via the Google Home platform.

Eve Thermo (5th generation) is now available for 79,95 Euro – the same price as its predecessor – from Eve and Amazon. Eve Thermostat will be available in the first quarter of 2026 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland for 119.95 Euro. About Thread

Thread technology is specifically developed for smart home applications to improve connectivity between devices. Thread creates a mesh network, within which lights, thermostats, outlets, sensors, and more can talk to each other free of the constraint of having to go through a bridge.
