Hello Jered! As all accessories Eve Energy gets the time from the iPhone once you connect it for the first time, this is time at home. Once you connect from a different time zone it syncs again. So to have the schedule working as expected you would not open Eve Energy while in a different time zone. But: When using automations they won't be affected as they are executed by the home hub (Apple TV 4/4K and/or HomePod/mini at home).
When pulled out for a longer time, Eve Energy 'forgets' about the time as it does not feature a battery. Once plugged in again you need to open it in the app Eve to sync the time again.
