Eve today announced the new indoor air quality monitor Eve Room, upgrading the acclaimed accessory with Thread support. Eve Room is one of now ten Eve products that work with HomeKit over Thread, the groundbreaking technology specifically developed for the smart home. Completely wireless, Eve Room relies on Swiss technology leader Sensirion’s energy efficient sensor to keep track of a room’s air quality, temperature and humidity.

Eve and Coulisse Announce Availability of Eve MotionBlinds Motors for early 2022
Making Smart Window Coverings More Accessible Than Ever
Eve Systems and global window coverings specialist Coulisse announced that MotionBlinds, the smart technology for window coverings by Coulisse, will add Eve MotionBlinds motors with Apple HomeKit technology starting from early 2022. Eve MotionBlinds are the first motors in the market to support Thread, drastically simplifying installation, automation and control of motorized blinds. Starting with roller blinds, Eve MotionBlinds will be distributed through a network of Coulisse resellers that will be listed in the store locator on motionblinds.com/eve as from early 2022. Eve MotionBlinds is currently already available for pre-ordering through Smartblinds.com in several European countries.

Eve adds Thread support to Eve Thermo
Free Firmware-Update available via the Eve App
Eve Systems released a firmware update for Eve Thermo, adding support for Thread to the current generation of its smart thermostatic radiator valve. Available via the Eve app, the free update enables users to make their smart home more responsive and robust. Eve Systems offers the largest portfolio of Thread-enabled HomeKit accessories. About nine months after HomePod mini went on sale Eve Thermo will mark Eve’s eighth device featuring HomeKit over Thread, the revolutionary low-power mesh networking technology introduced by Apple’s smart speaker.

San Francisco, California – March 4, 2021 – Eve Systems is following through with their commitment to HomeKit over Thread by bringing the Thread version of its popular smart switch Eve Energy to the US, adding the smart weather station Eve Weather to the product line, and announcing Thread-enabled firmware for Eve Aqua (2nd generation). The new releases raise the number of Eve devices that have received certification by the Thread Group to seven – marking the largest portfolio of Thread compatible consumer technology devices by a smart home brand.
