It's a big disappointment that Elgato does not provide Thread support for products that have been released only little time ago, like Eve Door & Window 2nd generation oder Eve Thermo 2nd generation.
If the "old" chips are not compatible, Elgato should at least provide massive discounts for switching to the newest generation of these products. I think it's not sustainable und customer-friendly that these products become unusable in a few years when Thread becomes the new and only thing and pure Bluetooth isn't supported by HomeKit any more.
