Conditions of Participation
1. Organizer of the Nuki Smart Lock giveaway
The organizer of the competition is Eve Systems GmbH, Rotkreuzplatz 1, 80634 Munich.
2. Profit
5 Nuki Smart Locks will be raffled between March 3rd, 2026 and March 8th, 2026 to five winners. All operating, ancillary and follow-up costs associated with the prize are borne by the winner.
3. Attendance, duration and participation
Only persons of legal age (18+) may participate.
Participation in the competition requires following the instructions in the respective giveaway post on Instagram or Facebook, including liking the post.
A maximum of one entry per account per platform is permitted.
Start of the competition: Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026
End of the competition: Sunday, March 8th, 2026
The winners will be determined by random draw, separately per platform: three winners from Instagram entries and two winners from Facebook entries. Winners will be notified via Story post on the respective platform on Monday, March 9th, 2026.
By participating in this competition, the participant accepts these terms and conditions.
4. Exclusion from participation
Employees of Eve Systems GmbH are excluded from participating in the competition. All third parties involved in the implementation of the competition may not participate either.
In the event of a breach of these conditions of participation, Eve Systems GmbH can exclude the participant from participating in the competition. Persons who use unauthorized aids or otherwise gain or seek to gain an advantage through manipulation are also excluded. In such a case, Eve Systems reserves the right to subsequently confiscate and reclaim the prizes.
5. Implementation and processing
The winner will be determined by a random draw from among all eligible entries submitted on the respective platform under the associated posts on Instagram and Facebook.
The winner gives their consent to publication.
The notification of the prize, all information regarding the prize, and further instructions will be sent to the winner via the email address provided and/or the Instagram and/or Facebook account used to enter the competition. If the winner does not declare acceptance of the prize and provide their postal address within 10 days after the prize notification has been sent, the prize will be forfeited.
Non-cash prizes will be sent to the postal address provided by the winner. Prizes in kind will only be shipped within the European Union, United Kingdom, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and United States free of charge. Additional transport costs are to be borne by the respective winner. There is no entitlement to an alternative cash payment for prizes in kind or other prizes, or to subsequent changes to the prizes. The item shown in the competition is not necessarily identical to the item won. In the case of non-cash or other prizes, Eve Systems is entitled at any time to substitute a prize of average type and quality.
The winner is solely responsible for any taxation of the prize.
6. Subject to the termination of the competition at any time
Eve Systems GmbH reserves the right to cancel or end the competition at any time without prior notice and without giving reasons. Eve Systems GmbH is particularly entitled to do this if the proper execution of the competition cannot be guaranteed for technical or legal reasons.
7. Liability
The organizer shall, in principle, not be liable for any damages arising from participation in the competition or in connection with the distribution and use of the prizes. In particular, liability for lost chances of winning due to technical malfunctions, errors in data processing, or transmission errors is excluded.
The exclusion of liability does not apply to damages resulting from culpable injury to life, body, or health, nor in cases of fraudulent concealment of defects. The same applies to liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz). The exclusion of liability also does not apply to other damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty by the organizer, its legal representatives, or its vicarious agents. Furthermore, the exclusion of liability does not apply to typically foreseeable damages resulting from an intentional or grossly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations by the organizer, its legal representatives, or its vicarious agents, the fulfillment of which is essential for the proper conduct of the competition and on whose compliance the participant may rely (cardinal obligations).
8. Data privacy
The organizer is also the controller within the meaning of data protection law.

We process your data for the purpose of conducting the competition, including awarding the prize, and for carrying out the marketing activities specified above. Further information on data protection in marketing can be found here.
The legal basis for processing your data is the performance of the competition contract (Art. 6(1)(b) General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)). The provision of personal data is contractually required or necessary for the conclusion of a contract. We do not share your data with third parties. Your data will be deleted no later than three months after the prizes have been awarded. Data used for our marketing activities will be deleted upon your withdrawal.
9. Miscellaneous
All information is provided without warranty. The legal process is excluded.
The organizer’s competition is governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Recourse to legal action is excluded.
This promotion is not affiliated with Instagram or Facebook and is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by Instagram or Facebook. The recipient of the information provided by the sender is not Instagram or Facebook but Eve Systems GmbH. Instagram or Facebook's liability in connection with this competition is excluded.
